Pfc Ball enlisted in the Army on Feb 19, 1943 at Columbus, Ohio. His enlistment record states that Glenn completed high school was married and was employed a a railroad section hand. Pfc Ball was awarded the Purple Heart Medal, the Croix de Guerre Unit Citation [French], the European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with Bronze Star and Arrowhead, the WW2 Victory Medal, the WW2 Honorable Service Lapel Button, Parachute Badge, the Combat Infantryman Badge and the Presidential Distinguished Unit Emblem. Pfc Ball is interred at the Normandy American Cemetery at Colleville-sur- Mer, France at Plot "'C' Row '23' Grave '17'.
